The Reference and Government Information collections, both of which are located in the Langson Library, contain many resources for students researching their topics.
The UCI libraries feature a variety of REFERENCE SERVICES available to students -- click here for details. You can also visit the Reference Desk, on the 1st floor of the Langson Library, and get assistance from one of the librarians (during their scheduled desk hours). IMPORTANT NOTE: so the librarians can help you most efficiently, come prepared, with specific research questions for them.

Documents in the GOVERNMENT INFORMATION COLLECTIONS (located in compact shelving in the Basement of Langson Library) can be found on Antpac -- use the "Limit / Sort" function in Antpac to limit your search to "Where item is located: Langson Govt Pubs" in order to see only materials in the Government Information Collections. UCI's Government Information Collections include many valuable PRIMARY SOURCES such as government-published reports and transcripts, as well as indices to help you located such documents.
Some Government Information items can be checked out, while others are for library use only and do not circulate; the Antpac record for each document will tell you the circulation status of the item.
If you have questions, or have difficulty locating a document, the Government Information librarians will be happy to help you -- once again, the more specific questions you have, the better they can help you.
